I was thinking, it would be good for us to put together a full list of Formula One drivers who have been victims of the Wall of Champions, in Montreal. They do not actually have to be champions (now or at the time of the accident), nor does it need to be in a race. Any F1 session counts. Indicating the circumstances surrounding the accident would be a bonus. Just to avoid confusion, we will say that a victim counts as having had any damage or compromise due to any contact with the wall.

Even though it is still a good two metres drivers still sometimes find their way into the wall. The chincane is basically the same as those in Monza. Would not surprise me if somewhere in the future the wall gets moved back and we’ll see a magic appearance of tarmac run off.

Poor Tiago – he must have won something…
I wish they’d put “Welcome to Quebec” on the wall again.
