ANDROID APP PLEASE!!!!!!! My Android can’t decide weather it wants to load the mobile site or the full website and so it switches between both randomly xD Us Android users (And we’re a strong number growing very rapidly) would love to have more F1 apps as theres almost none on the Marketplace.

Can’t wait for an actual switch link. My Blackberry always goes to the main site which is horrible when you’re out and about as you have to load roughly 500k of data!

I think the mobile site is good. The only problem I have is it doesnt auto fit the text to my phone like most sites do. Means I have to scroll across each line just the read a couple words.

The site used to auto fit the text so Im not sure what changed, my phone settings are all the same.

Adam, I think most phones have the option to view a page in Page or Column view (as it is described on a Blackberry), the column view fits everything to the size of your phone’s screen.

@keithcollantine, I’ve noticed since the latest mobile site update that the mobile site now loads by default on my iPad. I prefer the mobile site on my phone as it not only streamlines the site so that it loads quicker, but is also easily readable without having to zoom. On my iPad howeve I much prefer the full site, as the screen is amply large to view the entire site without any abbreviations. If you can set it up to sniff out iPad browsers separately from phones that would be great. Other than that I’d just like to say thanks for all the updates to the mobile site. Looking back through this old thread it seems it’s come a long way!

On my iPad on the forum when I am writing a comment I am unable to scroll up or down the box to see the rest of my writing. I am only able to see 2 lines.

@thewittyweasel I don’t think that’s the case, as there are plenty of sites that accurately detect when you’ve visited on an iPad browser. In particular sites that have their own apps often try to hawk their app at you and require you to either click a link to their app or a link to continue to their site as normal. The same sites don’t provide that link when visited from an iPhone or iPod touch, so there must be a way of sniffing out devices in addition to OS.

On the homepage, the logo doesn’t look very nice on the retina display of my iPhone 4. You’ll probably need a vector that can be resized as necessary.
