Yeah those are great too, but I still like the colours of the Ferrari photo more.
I also considered the photo that I have as my avatar actually.
I tried to find similar but cheaper photos in A2 or A1 seize, but then I thought, I won’t remember the money I spend on it in 6 months time, but I will surely regret if I don’t get the right photo to hang on my wall.
Might as well just do it properly the first time. : )

I can’t really pick the best one.

The closest photo to being my favourite.

    I love this one.

This Silver Arrow looks out of this world.

Old and spectacular – that’s what I like.

There was also this photo of Tom Pryce sliding through the corner, just clipping the curb with his right front tyre, almost full opposite lock. I can’t find it anywhere, but I’ve seen it in “F1 Racing” few months ago. This is the type of photo I’d like to buy in its original size and print in the biggest possible format, no matter the price, it is so worth it. I’ll deliver a photo of the magazine photo later.

@xivizmath I’m ashamed to say I know nothing at all about Tom Pyrce but good luck with that. If we’re talking about old photos though this is one of my favorites its very plain but yeah. Benz in Tripoli:

Brilliant photos, especially the one from Tripoli. Every photo from there had that unique feel to it. Nowadays F1 and multiple other racing series race on tracks built on deserts and people have gotten used to it, but when you mix deserts and F1 of 1950′s, that’s a different thing.

Anyway, as I said, here’s a photo of Tom Pryce I mentioned earlier. Well, that’s not really a “full opposite lock”, but it’s still a wonderful photo. I can pay any money for it just to be able to print that in a huge format. It’s from the december issue of “F1 Racing” (that’s a polish edition there on the picture).

    EDIT:
I have found the biggest possible resolution of that photo here. Thank you Google reverse image search!

I guess old photos are more valuable they’re a window to a different time but you know new photos are quite nice too, especially now days with high-def cameras, the fact that there are so many photographers means more intimate moments can be captured. You should see the one with Vettel in China 2009, you could see his facial expression, raindrops around him, you don’t get that from old pictures.
