    2006 had amongst the best looking cars ever, 2009-present they just look stupid.

    2001 had Williams as a top team, winning races. That’s something we havent’s seen since a long time. :(

    @Keith –

    And yeah, it would be nice if the front and rear wing proportions could be closer to what we had then. The cars do look rather silly at the moment.

    I thought you preferred them now! But maybe that is becuase the aerodynamic parts on the sidepods have gone.
    My idea would be to have the 2008 wings (narrower in front, wider in rear) but with the 2009 sidepods (no aerodnamic parts).

    @Fixy

    The car youve described is more or less the Formula Renault 3.5 car. Wide rear wings, narrow front wings and no aerodynamic parts. They definetly look better than todays f1 cars. I agree with most peoples opinions that the aero did get silly in 2008 with dumbo wings everywhere.

    Yeah in 2008 the cars stuck to the track like glue and looked a bit ridiculous, the 2009 rules got rid of the downforce but made the cars look strange. Admittedly the 2010/11 cars look more “normal” than 2009 due to the longer chassis but still a wider rear wing would be nice.

    Big & wide rear wings, and slightly smaller front ones. If only to make the cars look more awesome!!

    I dont miss all the extra aero stuff that they stuck onto the cars, thye might have added downforce but the cars leading upto & including 2008 have to be the most ugly racing cars in F1 history. I think the cars today look smart but the front and rear wings need to have their sizes swapped.

    The cars look better now than they did in 2008.

    I love the simplicity of the cars nowadays.

    Back pre-2008 I thought they looked amazing, then in 2009 I disliked them. But I watched a video the other day, specifically Brazil 2008, and rather disliked the over complicated aerodynamic wings, preferring the 2011 cars, I also like that the current cars are longer.

    The 2008 cars look so chunky, like trucks.
