Showing your age there Aus_Steve! It was pretty much the same: Red….pause….tension….greeeeeeeeeeen!

Regarding cameras, the V8s are always way ahead of F1. They’ve got some great onboard cameras like ones above the driver’s head looking down, one underneath the car looking at the suspension and tyre (great for seeing the loads that go through the tyres in the corners and when they smash into kerbs).

Interesting, I just watched the Indy Car highlights (I completly forgot the race was on over the weekend and forgot to watch or tape it – doh!) and the restarts just seem a mess because they also slow down to 75 mph on the limiter and then gun it.

Double file would just mean restarting the way we start in F1 if you think about it. It might also penalise the rest of the field less for people to keeping up.

What are this years DRS rules for saftey cars? Im assuming if its a DRS straight you can all use it. Epic 21 man tow for Karthikeyan in last place :P
