Assuming HRT’s story is over, there’ll be 22 seats in F1 next year.

Which 22 drivers do you think deserve those? No team relations, sponsors, whatever – just write the 22 names you think deserve to be on the grid.

I’ll start:
Alonso, Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen, Webber,
Button, Massa, Grosjean, Rosberg, Hulkenberg,
Maldonado, Bottas, di Resta, Vergne, Ricciardo,
Alguersuari, Glock, Pic, Perez, Kovalainen,
Wickens & Calado.

Obviously nothing serious, no need for long thinking, no particular order. Just for fun.

@Enigma My list is pretty similar to yours, I just would drop Vergne but leave Petrov, take Sutil back instead of promoting Wickens and promote Valsecchi instead of Calado.

Similar to @girts, but I replaced Petrov and Bottas with Razia and Vergne. But I hope HRT stays so that there is some space for Bottas and Kobayashi.

Its unfortunate that Kobayashi wont be on thr grid .. and nor will Sutil. Also want to see Frijns on the grid but I doubt Red Bull really want him after a few of his statements regarding the RB young driver program

Even without my “fantasy” pick of Franchitti I’d want Glock, Frijns, Wickens and Bianchi in there too. With 26 cars, or a bit of driver rotation, it would be easy.

I’d love to see Jules Bianchi get a shot in F1. He’s reasonably quick, very consistent, and has plenty of experience. I think he’s earned a shot at F1, and could be a real surprise to people.

This is a half-realistic list, to be honest. A fantasy one would include the likes of: Power, Pagenaud, Vilander and an Audi F1 team with Rockenfeller and Leimer at the wheels. And I’m sure I can think of many others.
