I don’t think that there will be a best platform so to speak. In all likelihood this will be the difference
- The PC will have great graphics (dependent on your graphics card/processing power etc) and will also feature mods which will mean the game is not made redundant in years to come. If there are sequels, this may not be an issue.
- Of the consoles, the PS3 will feature the best graphics. It has the better processing power and will provide arguably a better single player as a result.
- The xbox, usually, has a bigger online following and a better online service, so if multiplayer is your thing then perhaps this is the best choice. Unlike the PC, you won’t have to compete for players of other racing sims like Rfactor etc, so the community here may last the longest.
To be honest though it completely depends on what your setup is. I’m an xbox 360 user – gamertag is RumblyLizard. Anyone out there who wants to race me in the F1 game, feel free to add me!
Oh and a tip for the UK users – i’ve seen shopto.net has a particularly cheap pre order. Thats where i’ve got mine from – unless anyone knows of a limited edition?
