@garns
Finns are not “anti-social” or necessarily “shy” either, we just seem to have a greater sense of personal space or something like that. If you sit next to one of us in a bus, you shouldn’t expect much small-talk etc. It’s not a big really though, the best way to find out would be to travel here and see for yourself. We’re definitely not all like Kimi; from what I’ve read about him from Finnish papers (tabloids mostly) he’s always been more or less socially reserved and doesn’t like to talk much (there are some things in his personal history that probably have had an effect in this)
As for Senna, I’m not denying his talent in any way (even though they’re probably a bit exaggerated because of his early death) but I’m sure that you know that some of his on-track actions have caused controversy (this is what I meant).
I’ve never considered F1 boring (I started following the races regularly somewhere in 2002-2004), probably because the whole sport has been personified so much with Kimi and his career for me, plus the fact that I was fairly young during those years.

Oh yeah, there was the actual topic of the thread also:
I’m somewhat positive that Lotus will start with a better car this year. I think they’re one of the teams that’ll build a completely new car (on the basis of last year’s one) and as E20 was strong I’d expect them to be battling on the top right away this season.
McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari will obviously be very fast this year as well. I think the strongest one’s from the start will probably be McLaren and Lotus as they perhaps didn’t have to spend as much time developing their last year’s cars because of the fact that weren’t realistically in the title contest anymore in the later part of 2012.
