I think Gilles’ Ferrari 126CK is probably the worst car that someone has taken to a genuine win – ie a victory that was down mainly to the skill of a driver and not other factors such as the weather/misfortune of others. Ok the Monaco win was a little lucky as Jones had a bit of a problem, but the fact Gilles was there in second anyway is remarkable.
