This. All the time. To the point where it’s become ridiculous and I try to get as close to the barriers as possible and don’t realise what’s happening in front of me. Most frustrating thing is getting on the throttle early without the guy in front cooperating :(.
Also being in pole position at the lights and getting the perfect launch – especially fun when the surface is damp!
Taking handbrake hairpins when no one is around (and looking…).
Changing radio stations/volume but imaging you’ve got a flappy paddle :).
Trying to left foot brake/heel-and-toe ably (again, when no one is around and not at high speeds). Alas, the layout of my pedals makes it very difficult to accomplish.
Induce slight understeer in corners that you know by heart because why not.
Leave some space for yourself to nail your favourite corners :)
