It has to be Fernando Alonso the drive the fight to win is unrelenting, if any1 visits his twitter he is always training or at the factory he is almost posessed for a 3rd world title after two near misses and he is a real leader of ferrari and passionate for the team and its supporters.

Mika Hakkinen. I just love his attitude and he wasn’t too bad at racing either.

Of the drivers I’ve actually watched Alonso’s my favourite and he’s probably my all time favourite too, seeing Alonso take pole at Silverstone after camping in the rain and the mud was one of the best moments of my life! In terms of drivers that were before my time Gilles Villeneuve is probably my favourite, but I’m also a big fan of Prost.

It has to be no other than Fernando Alonso on and off track.

I can’t name a favourite driver. There are many I find interesting on and off track from what I have read in books or seen in documentaries.
The outstanding drivers are Graham Hill, James Hunt, David Purley and Clay Regazzoni, although they all raced way ahead of my time.

I struggle to have a single favourite driver. I’ve liked Alonso since the first time I saw him in the Minardi and am always impressed by his driving.

I am a big fan of Alex Wurz. Very calm and very genuine and while he didn’t do spectacularly brilliantly in F1 I always enjoyed seeing him race and hearing his thoughts in interviews afterwards. These days his twitter feed, interviews and articles are extremely interesting and I’m glad he’s ended up as a driver coach, I think he has a lot of good advice to impart on the young guys.

Right now I’m rather a fan of Romain Grosjean, he’s one of those drivers that grabbed my attention from the first time I saw him in a race., he’s got a lot to learn but there is obvious talent there. Another one who is great to listen to in interviews, his attitude is constantly positive, he’s clearly getting on well with the team and learning a lot. When he’s doing well he’s really exciting to watch.

Both Keke and Nico Rosberg, Nigel Mansell, Juan Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen, and currently Romain Grosjean and Sergio Perez.
