    Agree with you there too. I’d also get rid of some of those fast bends in Sector 1, it’s pure overkill.

    Tight, narrow and twisty in places…fast in others. I reckon the section on the top right (Sandford Road) would be quite interesting taken at speed. Double run up to the roundabout hairpin could also be removed to make a quicker run down to the Army & Navy roundabout. Circuit is clockwise in my mind as well, plus a lot of places for some different photos :)

    I’m not convinced the switchback at CotA needs changing. The whole section is modelled on Hockenheim – the left-hander going in is based on Agipkurve (though tightened slightly), while the hairpins themselves are modelled on the stadium section of Hockenheim.

    You’ve just ruined 130R (if it hasn’t been already…)

    Because they believe it will be an interesting sequence of corners in Austin. The setup for CotA will be radically different to the setup for Hockenheim (either version). That difference will trickle down in such a way that the car will handle differently and the driver must adapt accordingly. Don’t look at the individual corners; look at the circuit holistically.
