I’d like to see anyone except Vettel taking poles next year.

I would to absolutely love to see Mercedes make a pole-sitting car.

But generally speaking it’d be nice for other front runners to make a car with genuine raw wualifying pace to match the Red Bulls. The advantage RBR had in qualifying paired with Vettel’s perfect starts are what ultimately made the WDC quite one sided this year.

I don’t really care to be honest, as long as someone doesn’t take 15/18 poles next year I’ll be happy. That sort of dominance, while impressive, is just annoying!

I’d like to see a few surprises next year, like Hulkenburg at Interlargos last year. Hopefully stability in the rules will create a close field where there are 4-6 team who can realistically challenge for poles, podiums and wins.

Having said that, Vettel appears to be such a good qualifier that it would take Red Bull being somewhat short of the 8-ball for him not to take regular poles. Never say never!

I really like seeing drivers get pole at their home track. It would be great to see Webber on pole in Australia, Vettel in Germany, Massa in Brazil, Alonso in Spain, Hamilton V Button for Pole in Britain. That is always a joy for me to see.

Girts, shouldn’t Buemi get pole for Bahrain now that he lives there with his uncle? :P
