@aish Yah, brother, good thread. I’m wondering if anybody can find some old radio messages. I’ve been digging but can’t find anything really before 2000. I’m wondering when team to drivers radio’s really came into play. I know it must have been years before that for sure, and then they must have been closely secured from public transmission, but I would bet serious fans at the track hand handhelds that could pick em up. I wonder if anybody ever recorded em?

Can’t see if anyone has posted it here, but my favorite is David Coulthard’s one where he responds to the question “How’s the car?” with the reply that it was “Not good, it doesn’t kerb, it doesn’t turn, there’s no traction. Apart from that its great, I’m having lots of fun!” Classic DC!

Actually, I don’t know, and it was during Q1, not FP3. i’m looking for an answer, but there’s only mention of a ‘foreign body’ in his cockpit, without further details.
Some bad people think that Giedo has just reached puberty… :-D

Thanks for mentioning that, yes I remember, he was doing that way before his Abu Dhabi burst. I guess he detested Simon Rennie.
