That would be awesome, @keithcollantine, but we are all trying to get our hopes down here in Portugal when we talk about entering F1. So far, we just talk about getting some drives at some practice sessions, which would certainly help him to be better prepared to enter F1.

I wonder if Ricciardo and Vergne will feel under pressure for keeping seats for the whole season, with Da Costa waiting in the ranks. Normally Torro Rosso give their young drivers two seasons, but stranger things have happened…

Bourdais only had a season and a half, if I recall correctly…

I wonder if there is any truth to Helmut Marko’s supposed proclamation that Red Bull want Nico Hulkenberg for 2014. Because if so, there is unlikely to be a seat available at Red Bull any time soon, which might prompt da Costa to look elsewhere.

Man, if Red Bull lose AFDC, I will be stunned. But for what it’s worth, I suspect their 2015 lineup will be Hulkenberg/da Costa.

I doubt Red Bull would want to give up on Vettel so quickly.

@prisoner-monkeys I suspect that as much as Red Bull would want to keep Vettel, they won’t get to… Just a hunch.

Arden will fill their 2nd seat today. Any guesses?

I think that it will end up being a battle for the RBR seat between Riccirado and Da Costa, with Vettel remaining in the team long-term.

The head of Renault’s operations in Hungary is reportedly making a statement about the FR3.5 Series today. Speculation suggests it will be an annoucement about Tamas Pal Kiss’s future in the category.

Unfortunately it looks like Richie Stanaway won’t be on the grid this year:
