Hi All , have been to Spa and camped at the track twice before at green zone with pre purchased tickets, does any body know about arriving and paying for camping on the day , the past two times we have ended up camping to the left of the main gates which i think is a local guy’s field not what our tickets have been for… its normally not been a problem and he lets us of however we were just going to turn up this time and pay him on the day does anybody know who / how much this is?.

    Hi,

I’m going to spa for my first time this year, this will be my first ‘abroad’ GP as I’ve spent the last three years at Silverstone (getting wet for the past two)!

There’s a party of five of us in two camper vans and a tent, staying at Camping Du Moulin, Malmedy. We’re getting the ferry from Ramsgate early on Thursday morning so should be at the site for late afternoon. As the site is 7-10km from the track, we’re taking bikes. After looking at google maps there appears two possible routes, has anyone ever cycled/stayed at Camping Du Moulin in the past and do you have any advice on routes etc?

    Looking forward to the race!

    Matt.

    Hi Matt,
I need to do a bit more research but I believe the shorter route involves some steep climbs. We are on mountain bikes and general admission tickets for the 3 days so will be up early and will be carrying a fair bit of kit, so could do with a flatter route!
We arrive Thursday and plan to drive to the circuit for the pit lane walk as parking should be ok then.We are taking a caravan, be great to meet up.

    Hi Steve,

Yeah that was the impression I got about the shorter route. We are all taking mountain bikes too and general admission, I think our current plan is Eau Rouge for first practice them a good look round for qually/race day positions. I don’t think we will be there early enough to cycle over for the pit lane walk unfortunately, I’m sure it will be great!

Definitely share a few beers when we are there!

    Matt.

    Hey everyone.

I’m from México and I’m going to Spa this year. It will be my very first Grand Prix and certainly I’m SO EXCITED about it. I’ve got GA tickets and my intention is to watch the race at the end of the Kemmel Straight and qualy at Pouhon corner; I still don’t know where to watch the three free practices.

Can anybody tell me their experience about thursday’s pit lane walk?

    Cheers!

    Jorge

The pit walk is great you get to see the drivers, obtain autographs (Be warned the crowd outside Ferrari is mayhem) and you get to go on a few bits of the track mainly the start finish straight so you can pretend your lining up in the grid boxes for phots etc its awesome

@AndrewTanner I’m quite sure you won’t regret your decision to go. Sometimes I have had to regret the things I have done in my life or the money spent but not as much as I regret a few things NOT done and money NOT spent on a few things I really wanted to.

I will be there this year, too :)

So tickets are here, summer is here, the countdown to spa begins. I can’t believe that after this weekend it’s the next race.
I wanted a couple of things clarified if possible
We are in gold 9 – before raceway can we go into GA and sit on the grass assuming its dry?

Can you take food and/or drinks into the ground?

    thanks!
    Chris

Chris, You are free to roam around all the general access areas, plus you can take your own food and drinks into the circuit. Cheers. Craig.

    hi all
I bought tickets from spa-tickets.be and have only today realised they are not the official provider. anyone able to vouch for them? or had any bad experiences? tried calling and emailing but no response-very worrying. Appreciate any responses.

    Hi guys,

I can’t wait to go to Belgium this year having been to Catalunya and Silverstone earlier in the year.

I’ve never been to Spa before so was wondering if anybody could suggest a good place to stand? We have general admission tickets and ideally would like to have a view of some overtaking action but with a video-screen nearby if possible.

*** If anybody can help then I would be very grateful ***

I will also be at Spa this year. Luckily enough, it will be my 4th GP of the year after Melbourne, Silverstone and Hungaroring!

I’m still deciding whether to do GA or spend some more money (I may only make the Belgian GP once in my life) and go for the Eau Rouge grandstand, which is sold out on the official ticket website, but F1.com says some availability remains for.

    Hello Guys,
I am coming again with the question… Is there any free parking near the circuit on Friday?
I got Parking tickets only for saturday and sunday. Thanks
