To all who are waiting for tickets from The Ticket Enterprise or spatickets.be:
The Ticket Enterprise does seem to have disappeared off the radar. I have heard from other fans waiting for tickets that TTE haven’t paid spa yet for their ticket allocation. I have received no answers to any of my emails or phone calls to them. This could just be the normal practise – I don’t work for any ticket agencies – but with 3 weeks to go this does sound dogdy!
Marilyn Wout (info@spatickets.be) was the contact when I received my booking confirmation back in November She has recently changed jobs and no longer works for TTE. I found her facebook profile and those of other staff who seemed to be employed by TTE. None of these people will answer any messages regarding the current state of tickets.
I emailed another contact Chantal Bonefaas (chantal@ttenterprise.com). I had a read receipt back so I know that this message has been viewed by someone – but still no answers.
With less than three weeks to go this does look a little bleak. Do I seek alternative arrangements on the basis that my tickets will never turn up and risk having an extra set when I travel, or do I wait until 7-10 days before and hope that my tickets do get sent by TTE? As it stands I have a campsite and travel booked and paid for – but could be stood outside listening to the sound of F1 Cars.
I have tweeted this story to all of the sky sports f1 team. I had a reply from David Croft last night – he hasn’t heard anything but in his tweet he said he would “keep a look out”.
I’m very worried about the state of tickets for this event now after hearing some very conflicting stories. I’m not wanting to stir things up on here or cause worry as tickets may still arrive – but I have a severe doubt in my mind that this is a scam. Someone out there MUST know what is going on.
