Quick question folks, and this is getting into specifics, but like many I’m considering getting the GA admission for my first GP, either this year or next.
When people talk about this queueing up at 5am thing, is that because they want to get close to the track, and how bad is the view if you don’t get there that soon? For one, I can’t imagine how being lower down is necessarily a good thing but you can tell me otherwise. Whenever I’ve seen videos it doesn’t seem all that terrible apart from the obvious advantage of a few areas of Grandstand that have brilliant raised views.
Is it a meat in a cattle market job or can you just go to a bank on Hangar Straight or something to at least soak it up the general atmosphere of the race?
