wecaz, are you here in India or in the UK? I’d image that the BBC internet is locked to the UK, so you’d need vpn or proxy to get it here at the track via the internet.

My first ever F1 experience and it has been amazing. Getting to the track took me 2 and a half hrs – picking friends and family on the way. Once you hit the expressway the traffic is pretty smooth.

So close to Diwali and due to lack of vegetation around the track, there is a permanent cloud hanging over the track. The visibility for the fans therefore isn’t the greatest. Decent numbers on Friday and Saturday – hoping for a packed house today! The volunteers are generally helpful and except for eatables, people can take almost anything…didn’t find any restriction on large SLR Cameras being enforced.

I saw the discussion regarding the live commentary at the race track on status and position in the Race. I was just thinking is’nt it quite simple now a days ? If you have an Android or iPhone the F1 2011 App on either of them can give you up to the minute timings and also the textual commentary. I agree it is not as comfortable as a audio commentary but can definitely serve the purpose.
