WARNING!! If you try and book your India GP tickets via the Jaypee Sports website (direct from the track) you will be re-directed to BookMyShow website for payment. After trying, unsuccessfully, for several times to make payment I was contacted by phone by someone purporting to be ’from my bank’ who then asked me for my debit card number. I called my bank and was told that the site is insecure and on no account try to attempt making payment through it. Have a good GP! MM

    Hi Simon,
Its actually quite weird that BookMyShow.com denied your payment (its actually a quite reliable website, I use it quite often). PS: I’m not related to website in anyway, just saying. But yeah, you were correct in not giving your debit card number over phone (all these scams!!). You can try the official Formula1′s website http://www.formula1.com/tickets_and_travel/ or if you’ve some friends in India, you can ask them to buy it for from the various outlets http://www.f1india.org/airtel-indian-grand-prix-tickets/india-gp-tickets-retail-outlets (these were valid for 2011′s race not sure about this year’s)
