Was wondering if anyone from the UK was driving down to Monza have a ticket and everything sorted but im sure id have a better time driving down then flying.
@amlh44 – I drove down last year and have to say it was brilliant. Of course, you go through a few tanks of fuel and there are the tolls, but the views are excellent.
I’ve heard bad stories about flying to European GP’s, including the rush to the airport post-race.
I’d urge you to drive; it was a great experience for me.
Yea i definetly think driving is the better option was wondering if anyone had an extra spot that was driving down would have no problem throwing money for gas or tolls or anything and how long roughly is the trip down?
I have been to several EU GP’s by plane and flying has my preference above driving. We fly from the Netherlands to Milano on Thursday afternoon, go to the apartment and visit the race-weekend. On Monday morning we fly back. Absolutely without any rush and flying takes us 3 hours from door-to-door.
