F1 Fanatic - Going to the Italian Grand Prix at Monza
I noticed a lot of the fans at Monza were chanting Seven Nation Army after the podium ceremony this year. Does anyone know, is this just because of last year with Rosberg or is there some other reason why the song is popular there?

I think a lot of it may have to do with the fact that the song was very popular during the 2006 world cup, which Italy ended up winning. It was often sung with the lyrics “siamo campioni del mondo” which means “we are world champions,” so I believe that since then it has been associated with a lot of Italian presence in sports, and with Ferrari going strong this year they were definitely cheering them on.
