Thanks for your kind comments, we’re all F1 fans here and happy to help others.
If you want to see any of the live action then a ticket for somewhere is needed (be it Rocher, grandstands, restaurants, hotels, balconies, yachts, etc) you cannot see anything worthwhile (live) from anywhere else in Monaco. What you will experience from watching it on TV in a bar is the noise in the streets around you. But some would argue that you could simply turn the TV volume up at home and watch it there without having the expense of travelling to Monaco.
It depends what you’re looking for from the experience.
O is ok if that’s all you can get but if it were me, and this is a personal opinion others will for sure disagree, I would rather sit in a bar with table service, cold beer and a good tv and spend my 400€ there. Having said that I know of people selling K2 high tickets for over way over face value and folks are buying them….so again it depends what you’re looking for, and how much you want to spend.
Of course there is always the option that you’re brother becomes best friends with the owner of a superyacht…that’s always handy!
I’m sure you will have a great time whatever you do at the GP.
All the best
