Hello all,
I will be attending the Spanish Grand Prix for the first time this year. I have previously attended Formula 1 races in Austin, Indianapolis, and Spa. The races in Austin and Indianapolis had a lot of race related events going on throughout the town during Grand Prix weekend. Spa was pretty much racing and that was it. Does Barcelona have any sort of fan fest or other events going on during the weekend? I know they have a pit walk on Thursday but we aren’t planning on flying in from Madrid until Friday morning. Thanks!

If you wanted to you could go to the Barcelona international motor show that is on the same weekend and your F1 ticket gets you into it for free.

I have had a look at the site for the international motor show, http://www.firabcn.es/en/home
but can not see where it says about free entry for people with F1 tickets, could you direct me to a place where it states this or indicate how you know this? Also I see that the X Games are in Barcelona at the same time, is this also open to F1 ticket holders?
Thank you,PS can you suggest anywhere good to go after the Grand Prix?

@nicola, you can check the motor show promotion right in the circuit webpage http://www.circuitcat.com/en/f1/promociones.php7th May 2013, 12:53 at 12:53 pm #230483stampchezMemberIt looks like the city will be putting on a small fan fest. It doesn’t sound like much but might be worth checking out since it is near our hotel.
