I’d say that’s 50-50 to best. Really if Cecotto is coming from that far back and braking that late Nasr has a right to turn in not expecting him to be there.

Two races in and Addax have zero points. That teams’ championship ain’t going their way this season.

Stunning effort from Felipe Nasr – 6th place (and a handy four points) from 26th and last on the grid after that silly penalty. It was a shame he was punted out in the first race, but picking up twenty places (and keeping them) in twenty-three laps is absolutely sterling.

The kid’s got it. Valsecchi is over the hill, but I think any Formula 1 team worth their salt is going to be watching Nasr with interest this year.

@prisoner-monkeys – Started from the pitlane and it was twenty-two laps ;)

That was another good race and a dominant drive.from Valsecchi. Nasr did very well, definitely one to keep an eye on.

I’m not sure about that crash. I’d put more blame on Nasr I think, but not sure it should really be more than a racing incident. It reminds me of Hamilton on Maldonado last year in Monaco a bit, except that perhaps Cecotto was closer than Hamilton (I thought Hamilton’s penalty seemed harsh as is had looked like a mirror of his pass on Schumacher, but they barely showed any other useful angles so was hard to say).

Some great drives all round in the sprint race: Valsecchi snatching the win on the last lap, Calado driving another good defensive race, and I’ve no idea where Nasr found those seven or eight places in the final laps!

Yeah, like Will Buxton kept saying, Calado was able to make his car extremely wide. That’s especially impressive given that this is the first time GP2 has been to Bahrain, so you would think they don’t know the circuit THAT well.

Not including simulators and video games of course ;)

Great racing for the lead between Calado (10), Gutierrez (9) and Leimer (5).
