Eurosport have confirmed they will broadcast GP3 (and the Porsche Supercup) in the UK next year:

I’ve heard rumours that this is happening. I’m guessing Sky want to showcase the junior categories as well.

Why? Good on them to show GP3, but why not GP2? Hard to understand.
so what, those categories are boring apart from those who either take part or know someone in them, i,ll not be watching
I’m really hoping GP2 turns up on Sky Sports next year after the way it was marginalised by Eurosport.
I really hope that GP2 is shown by Sky Sports with every round live. It would perhaps sweeten the deal for those who are contemplating subscribing to Sky. Sky would then have F1, GP2 and IndyCar all live – a pretty decent line-up of motorsport.
Like others have said, Eurosport’s coverage of GP2 was appalling this year. They even had the nerve to advertise that GP2 was “live all season long”, when barley any of the feature races were broadcasted live.
