I have a quick question, I noticed on the gp3 testing calendar, on 3rd April there is a test at Silverstone and I was wondering if any of you knew if it was a test open to the public, and if so where you can get tickets.

I don’t think there would be a need to obtain a ticket to go and see the test session, however it might be worth an email to Silverstone to see if it is open to spectators or not. I’ll be going if I’m not doing anything that day.

Sainz Jr goes fastest on day 1 of testing. The new car appears to be over three seconds faster than the old chassis.

Josh Webster has signed for Status Grand Prix

I’m the team’s blue-and-white look is only temporary. It seems to be a popular choice up and down the grid, so everything looks underwhelming. Status have been immeditely recogniseable with the black and green in the past, so I hope they continue using it this season.

I think the purple and white livery is due to Josh Webster’s backing from Nine Group

Jimmy Eriksson has the same basic colour scheme.

Wow, those are some pretty uninspiring liveries. I see what Will Buxton has been banging on about on twitter!

    From Status’ press release

Nine Group’s purple and white colour brand form the basis of Status GP’s colour scheme this season

A lot of those cars do look very similar, I really liked Status’ black and green livery. Bamboo don’t seem to have a livery yet, just running plain white cars.

Bamboo has grey sidepods with a hint of blue:
