At present Sunday’s IndyCar race is set to be shown delayed in the UK. According to Sky presenter Keith Heuwen this is due to a late change in start time by IndyCar:
Sky seem reluctant to show the race live on the Red Button because people who want to record it on Sky+ (and, therefore, are probably not watching it live) will not be able to do so. I put it to them that a solution might be to show it live on the Red Button then run a repeat in the early hours of the morning for those who want to record it:
It seems the arrangements for the broadcast are still under discussion so if you have a view on this and, like me, want to see the race live, make sure you speak up. Best option is to message Keith (not me, the other one) on Twitter:

The start time hasn’t changed. I don’t think SKY has accurate information.

Very good news indeed – Sky have now decided to put it on the F1 channel!
Good news #IndyCar fans… WE’RE LIVE ON SKY SPORTS F1 HD at 4:30pm on Sunday !!
We’ll be running F1 Fanatic Live during the race, of course. See you there!
Good news! With an entire channel at their disposal for F1 it makes little sense to now show it all live.
I’ll probably end up having to record it and will do my best to avoid the result.
According to my Virgin Media guide it’s on SkySports2 at 5:30pm… but then they do get things wrong, often.
We’re hoping for no torrential rains that have swamped the circuit like the previous couple years. It can rain buckets in the jungle.
Will Rubens ever qualify better than mid pack?
