    Not a bad move at all. He’s going to be 27 next year, a bit too old for an F1 rookie, and probably doesn’t have the budget to get a seat. He could be pretty competitive in IndyCar. Could turn out to be a real smart move if true.

    If Sam doesn’t get a seat in F1 next year, the best second option would be Indy Car. I can’t imagine Sam driving in DTM or GT series.

    If an F1 seat doesnt come this year than an Indycar seat would be great for sam, especially should he win the GP2 this year as the champions can’t race the next year.

    Well, if it’s not Indycar he ends up going to, then only other options for him are really DTM/Touring cars or sports cars (endurance racing).

    Despite his open wheel experience… looks like F1 is not going to happen for him.
