I always thought NASCAR was the cesspit of motor racing, but I’m actually quite enjoying this! The machine gun-like sounds when they pass is great, and the pitstops are also great fun to watch. :)
It’s strange, because this race isn’t usually so well behaved and single-file at the front. Usually there’s about 10x more lead changes by this point. Strange.
Things always get more crazy by the end of the race though.
Seriously the amount of ads defies belief.. nevertheless I’m still enjoying it, even though JPM is out.

I’m really enjoying this, I’m disappointed that Montoya is out but I was happy to see Speed lead for a moment. I want Patrick to win for no other reason but for the fact that she is hot!

the most boring “race” i’ve ever seen. I’ve seen piglet racing at kempton park being more exciting than this. Not for me.
Jimmie Johnson wins. Bit of an anti-climax really.
That was the least-exciting Daytona 500 I’ve ever seen, probably.
Of course Jimmie Johnson won, it just had to be him.
Also I think overtaking just became difficult in NASCAR, hell has frozen over.
