    Owned:
1986 Honda Accord-My first ever car. Paid $500 for it and it still rode like a dream!
1998 Ford Mustang GT-What an awesome car! Black with black leather interior. Flowmaster exhaust, good ol American muscle!
2000 Honda S2000-First year of production for this car. Loved putting the top back on this car on a nice sunny day. Amazing cornering and the feel of a race car.
2004 Ford Mustang GT-40th Anniversary edition for the Mustang it was a beauty! My current daily driver.

    Driven:
2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R-Hands down the best car I have ever driven! Great Power, and the best feeling car ever! Got to drive at 130+ for the first time ever! The car belongs to a buddy of mine who works in Afghanistan 11 months out of the year, and comes back to America for a month to have some fun.
2000 BMW Z3-Driving this car was the inspiration for me getting my Honda S2000. Awesome car. Great power for a Roadster!

Some of the cars in here! You guys have bragging rights.

But i did drive some nice cars (a lot of Skoda as well), the Skoda Superb II with 4×4 and 3,6l engine is quite something. The Octavia RS makes fund driving as well. And I did drive several of the Audi A6 cars my boss had.

And a Porsche 911 Targa from ’74 owned by a friend of mine, but that’s 10 years ago.

Hardly anything like you guys mention.

Unfortunately I only just got round to learning so I’m crawling around in a Nissan Micra K11 :(
My instructor’s car is a diesel Mitsubishi Colt Cz2. Which is actually more boring to drive than the Micra.

Before I passed my test I did a bit of banger racing, I learnt to drive in a 1986 Mini City. That one died when the big end went. I also had an automatic Mini as a donor car which I used to hoon about our driveway doing J-turns and reverse donuts etc, which was great fun. I remember there was a rock I could park against and floor the throttle, creating masses of tyre smoke which, when you’re 14, is absolutely awesome. After the Mini I developed a mental condition which caused me to buy a 1980 Austin Metro 1275. That one died after I rolled it, broke a driveshaft and had to replace the engine with an equally broken unit. After that I got a Mk2 Fiesta XR2 which, guttingly, I never got to race. I remember being pretty shocked the first time I floored the throttle…

When I passed my test I had a Citroen AX 1.0. It was – and I’m not joking – a properly brilliant car. It had the ability to take pretty much any corner at any speed, had no understeer whatsoever and would happily cruise at 90. Sadly a lot of crucial parts were at the end of their life and instead of raplacing them I used it as the perfect excuse to get a new car. I’m not complaining because I plumped for an Alfa 156 1.8TS. It doesn’t sound like much compared to what some of you guys have had but for a 20 year old it’s a blast. Problem is I’ve peaked too soon and I don’t think I could bring myself to buy anything other than an Alfa. GTV V6′s aren’t too expensive now…

    Wow, quite a ramble. Sorry!

200? Peugot 306 convertible – lovely little convertible, fair amount of power given it’s size and weight

2002 VW Golf – Bullet proof except for the soft underbelly of it’s exhaust. Weighs the same as a tank and is powered by a hamster in a wheel and has the turning circle of an ocean-going tanker but it is great for throwing around country roads

2005 Renault Laguna – Brilliant cruiser, great fuel consumption. Horrific turbo lag!

I seriously envy you all :P You guys own/have owned some really stunning cars! Unfortunately I’ve never driven anything in my life, and probably the first cars I’ll drive will be my father’s old Chevrolet Kadett (Vauxhall Astra Mk2) or my brother’s Volkswagen Fox.

You guys are all guilty of destroying mother nature. I would call that Arrogance than anything else. You guys deserved the recession imho. No wonder why 3/4ths of our great nation went broke after 2009 & they deserve it.

Polishboy! 14 cars in 14 years? And you are proud of it? :

In this company I’m slightly embarassed to admit that I’ve never actually owned a car. I got my licence as soon as I was old enough but since then I’ve mostly lived in London, where a bike is quicker and a car is far from essential. Even now that we’ve moved further out of the city we only do about 1,000 miles a year in a 13 year old 1.2 litre Renault Clio – but that belongs to my wife from before we were married.

In fact, the only form of motorised transport I’ve ever actually owned was a Formula TKM 100cc kart – enormous fun. Apart from that, it’s been transport of the two wheeled, unpowered variety – although my next purchase in that line will be fairly racey, with lots of carbon fibre :)

The quickest thing I’ve ever driven was a Van Diemen RF85 Formula Ford 1600 – not brilliant on top speed but better on braking and acceleration than most things on the road. I did some engineering work for its driver and I got a few laps around Goodwood as a reward.
