I’m surprised there is so much resentment for the GT5 version. The entire Colosseum section at the beginning is quite interesting, and has some nice gradient. The chicane is very fast and tricky, and the following sweeping bends are quite nice, before an interesting double apex final corner. I’d have thought that people would only find it boring if they never drove it in anything faster than a hatchback, and so had spent a disproportionate amount of time on the straights. It works as a fast circuit with low lap times. I can’t remember how much I enjoyed the GT3 version, but I definitely found the middle section of constant 90′ corners quite irritating.
EDIT: This assumes you drove GT5 Rome the correct way- clockwise.
