Hi all!

Can anyone recommend a good F1 blog written in german? A good news site would help too!

I’m trying to learn german, so I need something to read, even if I don’t understand a word of what is written =P It helped me a lot when I was learning english, so I’m sure it will help me wiht german too – and of course, it’s way better if the texts are about my favourite subject :)

Oh, I was planning to try and learn German myself this summer! Perhaps it’s wishful thinking and knowing me it’ll never happen, but it’s worth a try.

Here’s a start:
Rain master= Regenmeister
Formula One= Formel eins
The car= Das auto

You might want to try http://www.F1Fanatiker.de which is ran by Kurt Collanschmidt. It’s completely biased towards Vettel though

I’ve wondered about German F1 sites before as well, just because I’m curious what the average German fan’s perspective is. Just did a quick google search for Formel Eins, and found http://www.formel1.de, which seams to have a forum as well, so there you go!

http://www.motorsport-total.de would be another option. One tip, though, stay as far away from the forums and the comments as humanly possible. Although, this holds true for every German (fan)site regarding motorsport. For some reason (I blame GIFT and our lack of national identity, although that is getting way too far off-topic) German F1 fans online are mostly insufferable a***holes. Take my annoying personality and multiply that by thirty-seven and you have the average niceness of a German online.

It’s sad, really.
