It was pretty obvious it was a Ferrari.
I’m gonna go with a more difficult one: http://postimage.org/image/jfal74uxh/
Don’t know about everybody else, but I’m finding this very tricky!!
Yeah, it’s probably a tad too obscure. I will tell that it is a one-off by a certain coachbuilder and that it currently is a wreck somewhere in a shed.
Here it is from another angle: http://i45.tinypic.com/11ak8sw.jpg
I’ll be satisfied if you can name the coachbuilder or designer.
Drogo 250 GT. The nose looked so much like the breadvan that I guessed it was Drogo, then just google imaged it to find out if he’d done any other Ferraris. I didn’t know he’d done so many beautiful 250 variants.
@matt90 Indeed, it’s Chassis #2053GT. One of the best looking cars ever imo.
I think it’s a shame people only remember Drogo for the Breadvan.
@matt90 looks like a Ferrari 330 P3/4 …. and yet im having 2nd thoughts as to another 60s Sports car..
Its the failed GT40 successor, the Ford P68/69
@sjm Yep, great looking car in my opinion. Also known as the F3L.
Heres my car,
Your right @Matt90 its a shame it was flawed in its aerodynamics. Perhaps they could have been sorted, as the Porsche 917 was. Oh well. Ive got a pic of the engine bay in the car that I took the other year, the tyres were as big as the engine was!!
Awesome, I’ve seen it briefly at Goodwood- both Revival and Festival of Speed- but I didn’t really see it close up.
Lola T70 Mk. 3?
@necrodethmortem well done. Your turn.
Here’s the next one: http://i50.tinypic.com/xop5bq.jpg
Is it a Morgan 3-wheeler? Don’t know of it by any other designation
Not sure. Is it some kind of Pre-war Grand Prix or Indy car though?
