Kind of disappointed by it. It’s a much more technical display than GymkhanaTWO, but I think the reason why GymkhanaTWO worked was because they shot it like a music video, and that’s missing from this. All it really has going for it is the banking whereas GymkhanaTWO had lots of nice little moments going for it, like the way the glass shattered to reveal the car, or the slow-motion camera as Block drove over the lightbulbs. Here, it’s just a little bit of driving on the extreme banking and everything else is just lifted from the previous video, like the Segway stunt being a copy of the paintball sequence in the last video. Gymkhana_THREE should have been as different to GymkhanaTWO as GymkhanaTWO was to Mountain Lab 1.5, which itself was a great video.
