My name is Simon, I’m 25 and from Leamington Spa in the Midlands. I’m an engineer in the automotive industry although not F1-related.

I’ve been following F1 since the latter half of 1994 – I don’t remember the death of Senna, but I watched Schumacher drive into the side of Hill with indignation. I found this site fairly recently, over the winter, and it is now virtually the only F1 site I use – Keith’s masterpiece has them all licked :)

    Hello everybody!

My name is Guilherme Teixeira (Portuguese for “William” for those who find it hard to spell), I’m 19 and I live in Porto Alegre, Brazil, not very far from Argentina and Uruguay. I’ll begin studing civil engineering this August. I’ve learnt English all by myself at the age of 12 and I’m trying to learn Japanese now :P

My first F1 experience was the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix, where my brother woke me up ‘to see a crash between all cars’. Since then I’ve never stopped watching F1, except for a hiatus on the 2005 season. As I kid was a huge Rubens Barrichello fan, thanks to the media brainwashing everyone on the holy quest to find a new Senna. I, as a 7 year old kid, obviously fell for it. Nowadays I have a huge respect for him, but my favourite active driver is Robert Kubica. Also I support lots of drivers like Vettel, Schumacher, Kobayashi and di Grassi (to be honest I find hard who to support most during a race!). I say ‘active’ because my favourite driver will aways be Kimi Räikkönen :P As all my favourite drivers once raced for Ferrari, I couldn’t help but to end up supporting the team.

It’s a shame that even though there is a awesome F1 track here in Brazil, I’ve never been to an F1 race = However I’m planning to go to Interlagos in 2011, if the funding is there…

Also I’m a failed blogger – had one blog in portuguese language which lasted for 6 months and one in english was owned by me and Steph90. It had a much greater audience then my first try but it didn’t last for much more than 3 months due to unending personal compromises from me and Steph = I really hope to write there again!

And finally, I’ve been following this blog since the ending of 2008. I don’t post too many comments here but I loved the forum, in which I posted a lot. Therefore it is quite obvious that I’m absolutely happy that it is back :D

First of all, I must say I’m glad that the forum is back, although I haven’t really had much time to be on te internet recently!
But anyway, I’m Emmet from Derry in N. Ireland. I’m finished my second year at Queen’s University Belfast studying Actuarial Science and Risk Management. That’s about it from me!
I’ve been an F1 fan since 1999, when Eddie Irvine was fighting for the title with Mika Hakkinen. I’m a big Ferrari fan, but also a Schumacher fan, which now causes some split support!

    Hello All :p
Im Tom, brother of mr F1fanatic himself (for those of you that dont already know)
watched F1 since mid 94 (well with Keith as a brother I had no choice)
Im a big Senna fan, Ayrton and Bruno, and support most of the true underdogs, HRT, Minardi when they existed, Williams, Jenson Button and Nico Rosberg albeit just because I want him to grow a ‘tache like his dad :p

i’m 20 and a student. i’m not actually sato but I always seemed to support Japanese drivers in f1 as they always get overlooked. hence i’m now a kobayashi fan and Sauber.
In general i like Hamilton, Massa, Raikonnen:(, Kubica and am not too keen on Alonso…
Have been watching f1 on and off as a boy from the late 90s and became a true fanatic in 2007.
    cheers!

ps. sometime i play rfactor, if anyone wants to race!

Well. Hello and great to see the forums are up. Now I have another excuse the waste (I mean spend) more time here instead of working. Thanks Keith my wife might kick your rear end over this ;)

Been on F1Fanatic for well over a year fairly active poster (even manage a few COTD).
Liked F1 and MotoGP racing since I was a young kid in the mid 80′s or so but then I just “watched” and didn’t “follow”. 93-97 I went to Uni and had no TV (imagine that novel idea) so didn’t watch at ALL. 97 I started to watch F1 again and well become following it. 1999 I moved to US had no access to F1 until 2001 or so and since I been a follower again (slowely at first) but today it will take a lot for me to miss watching quali and race live and frequently check out FP as much as I can even if it means watching FP2 on my slingshot while at work. F1 and Fp3 usually are dead at night or really really early in the morning so I generally do not watch those but will check out online as soon as I wake up.

Well as I said moved to US so obviously I live in the US but moved here from Sweden where I was born and grew (no I still haven’t grown up, child at heart).

Only person in the family that has racing interest. I follow F1 and idly check out and watch Indycar. When I say watch I mean I might miss live even and view it on DVR later or just follow up on race result but actually not watch the race. F1 With Follow I mean read news daily, keep track of happenings in the F1 world (team, drivers, FIA, FOM etc etc) and it will take a LOT for me to miss watching a race or quali live.

Work. Me and wife own our own business with 20 employees.

Hey Guys and Gals, Thouroughly enjoy reading about the people behind the usernames. I guess i’m gonna break the American cherry here.. I’m Glenn from Miami, Florida. 26 , working as a Freight Forwarder, working on my Brokerage License. I teach music as a hobby during the summer/Fall. Ive been following F1 avidly since 2007, first race was Australia 2007 and as such I am a huge Lewis Hamilton Fan.

I missed the original forum, so this is my first introduction :). I’m George, 21, from the Midlands, UK. I’ve been watching F1 on and off since ’96 but only been actively searching for information for about two years. I’ve been around F1 fanatic since off season 08-09 (one of the many Georges I believe).

I try to be unbiased between teams and drivers, and stay away from the bandwagon (I do have a weakness for Nick Heidfeld’s beard though).

My name is Liam, 26 years old, from Co. Wicklow, Ireland. I work as a warehouse manager at an equestrian wholesale company. As a hobby I teach guitar and maths (wierd combo, but there you go).

I have followed F1 since 1995, except for Alonso’s championship years when I couldn’t afford satellite. I was a massive Jordan fan when they were around. Nowadays I don’t support any team in particular, although I do like to see the smaller teams and younger, less experienced drivers do well.

I’m a massive fan of F1 Fanatic. I discovered it about two years ago, and it is now the homepage for my web browser. I don’t leave many comments but when I do, I tend to go off on a tangent, which I won’t do here. :P

    Good luck tya now,
    Spud.

Hi. I’m Matt and I’m a physics PhD student studying at the University of Warwick. I’ve been a follower of F1 since the mid 90′s when I was introduced to it by my dad. I’ve only really been a hardcore fan since a couple of years ago though. Now, I try and watch every session if I can, and keep up with all the latest news via my endless list of RSS feeds (including F1 Fanatic, of course; thanks for the great site, Keith).

I’ll be going to my first Grand Prix at Silverstone this year (I can’t wait!). I’m looking forward to the forum threads discussing the British Grand Prix so that I can make the most of the weekend.

Oh, and I’m a Hamilton fan, but I’m also supporting Kovalainen and Petrov.

I’m Hairs, and I’m the subject of awe, wonderment, glee, and fascination.

Many years ago my coming was foretold, yet few believed it. Woe betide them. My first COTD was a lesson to those whose lax ways had led them to assume that the obvious was also the inevitable. My second, a darting shot of brilliance across the bows of those who may attempt to outshine me. My third, no less than a demonstration of the power I will one day wield over the sundry masses of the earth.

What rewards await those who journey forth in my entourage to witness my daring feats? None but the bitter ashes of their own hearts as their very souls are sacrificed to the machinations of my ultimate triumph. Yet their sacrifice shall not be in vain, for all mankind will benefit from the benevolance of my ultimate being.

    Hello all,
My name is Ritesh(which got shortened to Rits when I started DJing 5 years ago..). I’m 26, Indian but been living in the UK for 5 years now. I’ve been a Formula 1 follower since ’93. Grew up as a MS fan till I actually understood the sport in more detail. Around ’97, my support moved to Mclaren and Hakkinen. After Hakkinen departed, I spent a few years neutral before getting back to Ferrari/Massa. That stayed until the arrival of Force India.
I’ve been a regular Fanatic visitor for a year now and many of you might already know me :)

I’m an electronics design engineer by qualification & profession but I take the DJ/Producer part of life more seriously and soon will be switching to it completely.

And finally, although needless to say, I’m a total F1 addict..!

Hi I am Wasif Anowar 22 years old from Bangladesh. I am watching F1 since 2000 but it was from 2003 that I was addicted to it. Few people if any have any idea about F1 in my country where cricket & football are favourite.
Have a wild dream of watching a F1 race from the groundstand seat for once in my life.
