I’m glad it’s out of the way. Every time he has got in over the last twelve months, the talk about a hundredth hundred has started. It got very tiring for the fans and it must have put an enormous amount of pressure on him. Now there are the expected articles full of platitudes for his achievements, but after they have died down, he will just be able to get on with playing. Or retire, in which case there will be even more written about him.
