they just started testing the new V8 engine on a Fiat Linea (this one: http://www.powerby.com.ar/images/Lopez_aventin_fiat_tc2000_200km_110821_2.jpg).
It’s the same V8 they use on the Radical prototypes. It revs up to 11000 rpm and develops 430hp… and the cars will still be front wheel drive.
A couple of engineers from England arrived to Argentina yesterday to work on the engine maps and the exhausts, which are not definitive yet.
TC2000 will introduce this engines next year, along with paddle shifts like in F1. But just listen to the sound!
