I adore this thread and love reading what everyone has put…esp Mag! :P
Q: Are you the kind of guy to have a ‘Plan-B’?
Yes. I like having things done the way I intend but sometimes you have to be creative to get what you want.
Q: Who is your dream date?
Alonso
Mag. Geoffrey
To meet/speak to – Massa and actually Maggie Thatcher. I didn’t agree with all of her policies but here everyone really hates her and have said really cruel things so I’d say sorry that the North East was pretty nasty.
Q: Which film last made you cry?
I can’t remember a film but there was a documentary on the other week about Hurricane Katrina and it looked like someone’s pet dog had drowned and it had me in tears. Hop survived though!
Q: What are you afraid of?
Flying. I can’t stand planes at all and it’s a pretty recent phobia. There are a few other phobia’s I share with some of you like failure, needles, loneliness would be awful too but planes scare the hell out of me. I thnik I’d prefer it if I flew them but chances of survival would be nil.
Q: What was the last book you read?
F1 Racing mag but before that Titus Andronicus by Shakespeare for uni. It was so bloody and disgusting I actually couldn’t finish it.
Q: What is your favourite way to relax?
Maybe with a few friends at a pub sipping cocktails. If not then watching something stupid like Wallace and Gromit.
Q: Have you ever – or would you ever – dye your hair?
Yes when I was at school but just highlights and it was the worst decision of my life. Never again.
Q: Name five things that you hate?
Speed bumps, seeing people hurt/upset, being patronised, early mornings and there’s this really sad donkey advert and it makes me well up everytime.
Q: Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
My ears but I’m a woman so it’s not like I’m pulling a Lewis Hamilton. I did consider a tattoo but think they look awful on girls.
Q: What did your teachers say about you in your school reports?
If it was a subject I liked that I’m very bright, worked hard and was very motivated. If it was a subject I hated then unfocussed, talks too much, makes mischeif and is lazy.
Q: Who were your childhood heroes?
I didn’t have any. I still don’t but I admire certain people and certain qualities. For example, when I realise how Lauda was so brave, how dignified Massa was since the end of 08 or even Gordon Brown who I never liked but he put up with so much stress day in day out and they’re just people who are in the public eye.
Q: Do you have any guilty pleasures?
I have an exceptionally sweet tooth. I also like to go a little crazy and do something that will get the adrenaline flowing and make me a little competitive (even if I’m rubbish) like indoor rock climbing despite hating heights. I’m looking at trying out a rally car next possibly…
Q: Do you collect anything?
I don’t mean to but I have hundreds of pictures saved of helmet designs but it was by accident. I have quite a few motorsport paintings and a couple of F1 t-shirts I like to sleep in.
Q: What was your worst buy?
A treadmill.
Q: How do you take your coffee?
When I’m up early then very milky and three sweeteners (possibly that caramel flavour stuff if I’m at a cafe).
Q: Your ideal non-race Sunday morning?
Shower, cup of tea, read the papers and watch an F1 race on sky+ before Sunday dinner is served.
Q: What was your first vehicle?
1.6 litre Mazda 3. It was blue.
Q: What’s the most embarrassing mistake you’ve ever made?
I’m quite dizzy and clumsy so there’s loads but yesterday I heard a buzz and thought it was a wasp so I ran as fast as I could out of the room screaming like a lunatic. Apparently, I was hearing things.
Q: What is the best thing you can cook?
I like to cook when I can be bothered but maybe a calzone or even a sticky toffee pudding although technically that one is baking.
Q: When was the last time you were really angry?
I usually am early on a morning but probably the other day when my friend was pretty upset.
