The latest news is over 1500 missing or dead. And explosions and collapsing buildings in that nuclear plant (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/mobile/world-asia-pacific-12720219) not looking good at all.

I just came across this terrifying video on the YouTube homepage. This is quite hard to believe actually. Check out the giant luxury yachts being hurled over the wall and crushed under a bridge from around the 1 minute mark.

There is probably no-one affected reading, but I must say, my thoughts are with Japan and everyone who has been affected by this horrible disaster. Mother-nature has dealt a cruel beginning to our new year.

I didn’t know it was from a site called “laughalone.tv”. I picked it up from a site called “Ignorant and Online”, which has got some really scary people on it, most of them claiming that Sendai was “payback” for Pearl Harbour. This video was a girl who was (supposed to be) one of those hyper-devout Christians celebrating the earthquake. She claimed that Christians around the world started praying for God to send a message to the world to prove his existence and his power to the atheists, and that the earthquake was that message. It appears to have been taken down, because, like the FAMILY GUY writer who made that horrible joke, nobody found it funny.

Personally, if my house was torn down by a tidal wave and a nuclear reactor threatened to go boom, leaving me stuck in a shelter with no electricity or heat, the last thing I’d want is people taking pictures and watching videos for strange people in a far-away land to feel sorry for me.

So I urge everyone to make a donation as I will be doing, otherwise it’s just morbid and frankly, wrong. We should be horrified into action, not pity. If you have no money, fair enough. But $10 from each person in this thread would help an individual so much in the weeks ahead.

Apologies if this offends anyone, I’m not talking about anyone here.

I’m sorry, but I thought the whole thing was a joke from the start. I didn’t think for a minute she was serious. And it’s probably as far from funny as possible. So, the troll got what she wanted, I suppose.

And Icthyes, blame the media. They send people from our countries over there entirely so they can get footage for people in a far-away land to feel sorry for them. But I do feel sorry for them. I can’t imagine what it would be like to witness anything like that.
