Sims 2 is the big one for me – I spend considerable time building up a neighbourhood that effectively is a small town simulation (plus other areas relevant to the storyline) and then have stories playing out in there. There’s an overaching one with strong fantasy overtones as well as a number of smaller-scale plotlines more resembling soap opera plots or simply Sims trying to achieve certain things. I have several gigabytes of custom content for it, which is probably a bit excessive…
As for other games I play at the moment:
- Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
- Unreal Tournament (especially multi-player Capture the Flag and Domination)
- Worms Armaggedon
- Mordor (an RPG from 1994)
- Spider Solitaire
- Premier Manager 98 (even I don’t know why I’m enjoying it because I normally only pay attention to football when the F1 drivers are playing)
PS. I don’t love F1 2010 as it requires a much more powerful computer than I have or am likely to get for the foreseeable future.
