Hmm… this thread, arguably like the WRC season itself, has gone a bit stagnant. But it was interesting to see that Loeb resigned with Citroen today. I suspected he would, he’s still relatively young, and simply too good for retirement! The scary thing is he might be looking at 10 consecutive championships by 2013…

Looking forward to Rally Deutschland this weekend. I’d say it’s the best of the tarmac rallies, though I’ll be amazed if anyone challenges Loeb for the win. I hope Sordo can get in amongst the frontrunners too

I pretty much missed all of the last round so will be paying much closer attention to Germany. Really looking forward to it.

I can’t see anyone having the audacity to rob Loeb of 10 world championships! Too good a record to ruin.

When I first read that, I thought you meant he’d resigned, as in he’d stepped down.

Fer- those clip shows are brilliant! They show them on ESPN Classic in the UK, I’ve watched loads of them over the last few months. It would be great if F1 had something similar, but I’m not holding my breath…

I just came across them yesterday. Amaizing stuff, so many beautiful shots and also pretty cool stories from drivers and co-drivers.

That’s a very cool way to exploit the series, with videos like these. So sad F1′s as lame as it gets. Only 3 minutes of “highlights” in the official F1 website after every race is poor.

What a great result in Germany! I was in shock when I heard about Loeb’s puncture. Really hope Ogier can move forward from the team orders ordeal and give Loeb something to worry about.

Good to see Sordo on the podium and Mini in the mix and of course an honourable mention goes to Raikkonen.

It was a great result for Raikkonen, but with the gap to the frontrunners still consistently very big, it’s hard to see him challenging for wins and podiums any time soon.

It was a shame he took some damage in the final stage, as I was hoping he might have been able to challenge for the stage win (and thus the bonus points)
