South Africa does sound interesting. I think it would be good to have a presence in Africa.

I like the idea of World Championships being held in every continent.

So do I, but it’s a question of keeping costs down. If Brazil goes ahead, the teams could stay in South America, thereby reducing costs.

They go to South America already – Argentina – there are many European events, a New Zealand one and North America is covered by Mexico, so they should pick South Africa to tick Africa off the list.

It is good yep. I expected a stage to be dropped. Don’t know what’s going on with Solberg, I expect he’s still finding his feet with the car? It’s going to look bad if Sordo out scores Solberg, especially after Portugal.

More disappointment for Ford again with Solberg – his rally is ruined. Sordo seems to be doing well though.

Good recovery by Loeb on day one.

Also good to see the organisers finish the leg despite the fuel delay!

Bit of a delay to things this morning, the fuel truck broke down. I hope that’s not a bad omen for everyone else!

What a bad year Latvala is having!

If I was Malcolm Wilson, I’d would have to choose Mads Otsberg to replace Latvala, attending to the recent performances.

It’s gonna be Wilson’s son :P

As for Latvala… I bet he can crash even playing chess. The guy’s been a very unreliable pair of hands lately!!
