More frustration for Ford after missing that open goal in Portugal – Jari-Matti Latvala has broken his left collarbone while training in Lapland and will miss the Rally of Argentina:

It remains to be seen who will replace him. Any thoughts?

I like Latvala, and in fact it’s probably difficult not to like the guy. But if he’s going to be a proper championship contender in the future then he really needs to get his act together and cut out the little mistakes. With Hirvonen leaving Ford I thought this was going to be Latvala’s chance to shine in ‘his own’ team – unfortunately that hasn’t been the case for all of this year so far. His speed isn’t in question, it’s the consistency. And that’s what rallying is all about, surely…

Got to be Ostberg, such a shame for Latvala, I really like him as well :/

If I was Malcolm Wilson, I’d would have to choose Mads Otsberg to replace Latvala, attending to the recent performances.
