There’s a press conference expected at the end of the week, possibly with Robert himself.
Edited: Top Gear Poland said that Kubica will be in Warsaw on Thursday.

Official:
- Kubica will participate in 11 rally events this season.
- 7 WRC events (Portugal, Acropolis, Sardinia, Finland, Germany, France and Catalonia)
- 4 ERC events (Canary Islands, Portugal, Corsica, Poland )
- 6 gravel, 4 tarmac events, 1 mixed surface event.

He also added that he hasn’t tested on gravel yet.
When asked about F1 he said that if he was supposed to go and drive in Barcelona, in an F1 car, there would not be any problems with his right hand or arm, but driving in Monaco for instance would be currently virtually impossible. He said there is a glimpse of hope of full-scale return to F1, because he doesn’t want to come-back unless he can be competitive again. He didn’t specified any time-frames. He’s fully committed to rallying now, but he’s treating 2013 season as learning experience. He plans more track testing this year.

I hope he’ll do better than Kimi did, perhaps he’ll be able to race against the VWs?

Anyway, I actually like the way the car looks.

Kubica has dominated the opening loop of the Rally Islas Canarias. He won all 3 stages and holds a 38.4 second lead over Jan Kopecky

Impressive driving from Robert. Miles ahead

It’d be bittersweet to see Kubica go on to be a superstar in the sport that could end up robbing him of F1 stardom, but man, that’s a great result for someone that’s supposedly just trying to finish the rally after one day.
