    Sebastien Loeb will leave WRC at the end of the season. Next year he will run in some chosen rallies. But from 2014 he will run WTCC with Citroen.

    The man is a legend… He will be missed. :’(

    Frankly, rallying needs this to happen. Nine years in a row is too much.

    I still reckon he’ll win the title. He’ll do half the events and win the lot of them, and everyone else will score so inconsistently throughout the rest of the year that he takes a tenth World Championship without even trying.

    @prisoner-monkeys
    I would love him to do so!

    Probably, but it would be a genuine contest for first instead of second. He may be a legend, but he’s made it a little dull.

    Such a shame we’ll never get to see anyone beat him…but what a record to go out with! He can leave knowing he was not beaten in 9 years, that’s crazy.

    Who will fill his seat?

    @andrewtanner Probably Neuville.

    Well he did cross my mind but he’s not exactly well blessed with experience…

    I wonder what Ogier is thinking right now? I guess he always knew that it would be sooner rather than later when Loeb retired.
