So running down the list and why certain drivers might not be eligible for the Yokohama Trophy, Huff is an ex-works driver and champion. Basseng is an unexpected one, his GT1 title probably ruled him out. Tarquini and Monteiro are both works drivers and therefore ineligible. Michelisz and Zengo are getting support from Honda. Thompson and Dudukalo are out as they’re works drivers. Muller as a former champion isn’t eligible while Chilton is probably not eligible because he’s driving for a former factory team. Coronel has F1 testing experience and I don’t understand why Oriola isn’t eligible?
