Group for fans of the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).
Well, the WTCC lineup seems to be getting more interesting: Honda are planning a partial entry in 2012 and a full entry in 2013. Good news for the championship.

Definitely good news for the WTCC – Chevrolet badly needed some competition last year.
Here’s some pics of the Civic:
that is a gorgeous Livery and all. I’m hoping that the Fords will give Chevy a decent run for their money this year as well – it would be nice to see the world championship actually become, y’know, entertaining.
Touring Cars are a better platform for brand promotion since the cars look like those on sale at dealerships. It’s good to see another manufacturer in the WTCC, I have to say I’m glad it’s not Team Dynamics as that doesn’t put their BTCC programme in too much doubt.
Now if the FIA could sort out the race format and stop fiddling with minimum weights and post race penalties that would be great!
Short video showing the announcement:
The Civic looks questionable enough on the road, but as a race car, it’s utterly irredeemable. It’s too bad the WTCC is seemingly steered towards smaller road classes, cause the Accord would probably make quite the looker. Alas, you wouldn’t want to compete with Cruzes and the likes with that.
@Proesterchen I do think saloons make for much better-looking racing cars than superminis.
I think Honda copied me. :P
You raced in RRR? You need to come back :)
