    Can’t help but feel disappointed he’s not doing a season-long campaign somewhere instead. I wonder if that one-off appearance at Silverstone put him off a BTCC return?

    I think his last chance of a BTCC drive was Chevrolet but they pulled out. Ford was an option for WTCC but they’re apparently racing with Chilton (a dead-cert) and James Nash. The Lada drive will hopefully be full time in 2013 though.

    He could combine the Lada drive with a few races in other series though.
