Muller wins round one in Monza

Solid win for Yvan Muller in the first race. Tarquini led to begin with but threw it away with a mistake at the second Lesmo.
This was after Muller had passed him on the first lap but cut the first chicane and had to hand the place back.
The other works Chevrolets of Rob Huff and Alain Menu collided on the first lap at Lesmo 1. Menu went backwards and went off again at Lesmo 1 later on, Huff mounted a recovery drive to second, demoting Tarquini to the third step of the podium.
Chevrolet look more vulnerable than last year but still tough to beat. How will they fare from the fourth and fifth rows of the grid in race two?
